I am about to upgrade my storage with another 6-7 Disks 8-10TB since I don't have space anymore.
currently I have mixed disks 4x2TB 1x3TB 1x8TB.
My important information (Jails) is on SSD (1x1TB only), the mechanical disks are storing Movies/data and my music library which is super important (under the 4x2TB raidz)
I was thinking about using all the disks at the end in one large pool.
using the idea of beyond raid (Drobo).
1. slicing the 8TB disks to 8x1TB than create the pool as...
