Plex don't load Meta Data

Hello Friends,

copied my library to my freenas and wanted to update the metadata from the movies.

Unfortunately it loads for a short time and then nothing happens.

Under Agents also settings have been adjusted and are correct.

When I ping 8.8.8.8 it also works.

I tried to switch to VNET and entered the IPV4 address myself. After that I could access the Plex interface and no connection to the server could be established.

Specifically I changed my train from 11.1-U6.3 to 11.2-RELEASE-U1, and although my plex and transmission jails were still working in the old no longer supported warden jails, i decided to try to get them working in the new iocage jails. I was able to get all this working the way I used to have it, grabbing from 10 or so different posts and bugcheck tickets, so i figured as a service i'd share my notes if anyone else finds value out of it. I built a plex pass server using the default 11.2...

Server will not boot with drives plugged in

Hey guys,

i know this is not a Freenas issue but i have run out of ideas and google searches.

i have a couple of old IBM x3550 M3 servers and 4 IBM M1015 cards i want to use for some freenas projects.
I have successfully flashed the M1015 to 9221-8i IT firmware and the card is able to "see" the drives.

FreeNAS is just what I needed to make use of an old Dell Optiplex 745 for some useful backup and shared files. I had juiced it up to 8 GB of RAM and put a 750 GB hard drive, plus its original 160G, and a USB-connected SSD. It took me a while to get it set up and work with Windows SMB. I consider myself fairly tech-able as far as setting up new systems, loading linux from scratch, stuff like that. Replication bottleneck?

Hello,
I'am trying to figure out why is my replication task not fast enough .
And I don't see any problem in my setup.

Setup:
Primary DS: FN 11.2u6 ; 2x E5-2623 v4; 128GB RAM; 24x 1TB Crucial mx300
Backup DS: FN 11.2u7 ; 1x E5-2623 v4; 64GB RAM; 12x 6TB WDred HDD

Network: 10Gb SFP+DAC (dedicated - replication link is not used by anything else)

Configuration:
Pool Sync disabled
Stream compression disabled
Cipher disabled

Measurements:
iperf / netperf hitting almost full network...

Sonarr won't move downloaded files

Hey guys,
So just setup my first FreeNAS box and Sonarr/SABnzbd.
Sonarr finds stuff, passes it to SAB and SAB downloads it and then just nothing.
If I do a manual import and select the completed folder it works, renames and moves the files to the new media directory.
But for some reason it just won't do it automatically.
I get this error in Sonarr:
Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: /media/completed/series/xxxxxshowhere

My setup:

Bonjour ,
Je vous contacte car je commençais à regarder la place disponible sur mon nas.
Je ne comprends pas les informations données dans "stockage"
J'ai fais un vdev avec 4 disques de 3To chacun montés en Raidz2.
Normalement, si j'ai bien compris la notion du raidz2, il y a 2 disques de parité. Donc il devrait y avoir 6To de capacités utilisable.
De plus, pour compliquer la chose, les données sont indiquées en TiB, notion que je ne maitrise pas.

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider à éclaircir les...

Hey,

I'm new here and also a bit new to Freenas, I want to install a Plugin (Nextcloud) but it always shwos me the following Error: ('Connection aborted.', ConnectionResetError(54, 'Connection reset by peer')). I kinda think that my FreeNas Server isn't connected to the Internet or?

The Hardware of my server:
Intel I7 7700k
Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero
Harddrives:
2x 8TB
1x 4TB

I have a iocage jail running on a FreeNAS 11.2-U3 system. The jail runs a bunch of python scripts accessing various systems using REST API's. When I try to log in to the jail using the command iocage console JAIL_NAME from the host system, it takes +60 seconds until I eventually get a prompt on the system (jail). Hi everyone,
After reading some posts and guides on this forum, I feel ready to post my FreeNAS plans. I usually build my PC's on my own from chosen components, but it's the first time I'm doing a server-project.

What am I planning to do with the system?
  • Backups for Windows 10 PC's, and Linux Servers (Ubuntu / Centos) and Apple TimeMachine
  • Media Server (Plex) - So I need good transcoding Power (Maybe also for two 4K streams in near future...?)
  • Downloader - Couchpotato or...

Please help to get another FreeNAS dream come true :)

Probleme mit fehlender HDD auf HPE Proliant Gen 10

Hallo Community,


nach dem ich es endlich geschafft habe FreeNas 11.2 U5 auf meinem Proliant zu installieren, habe ich leider feststellen müssen, dass nur eine der beiden 4TB WD-RED angezeigt werden.
Das OS ist auf einem separaten USB Stick installiert.
Im Proliant stecken auch nur diese beiden Festplatten, die sonst nirgends im Einsatz waren.
Beim Booten sehe ich die beiden WD´s auch kurz auf dem Schirm. Im BIOS konnte ich noch kein Untermenü finden, wo mir die Festplatten angezeigt...

Hi

I successfully installed Freenas 11.2U and Nextcloud 17 on a VMWare ESXi but have ran into a major issue trying to get DDNS (No-IP) running with Nextcloud.

I can access Nextcloud locally on the RFC1918 IP but when I try to access it from the internet with either port 80 or 443, using DDNS (NO-IP), it just times out and I get no connection.

Actions undertaken:
1. Checked and verified that the DDNS url is online e.g. http://xxx.ddns.net
2. Configured the ddns url in the...
