Hello, I am running a fresh install of TrueNAS and I already installed a few plugins (Plex and MineOS). I also want to install Nextcloud and FAMP, but when I try to do so, I get these errors :

Hi All,
I've been running FreeNAS/TrueNAS for years. So far, I could always find help in other threads. This time it seems to be too specific, I have little experience with HBA and SAS Expander. I hope the title is not misleading, but it is my latest revelation.

It seems like there are lot of guides here on installing Nextcloud, and a number of people reporting problems with many of them. So, I figured, why not write another one? The difference between this method and the others is that this method employs a script to create the jail, install all the relevant packages, and configure them. My thought/hope is that by scripting the installation and setup, a lot of the PEBCAK-type errors that come up in such a complex installation can be avoided...

Hi All,
Need to move the
system dataset to the
boot pool due to noisy reads every few seconds. I don't see that menu option on
SCALE RC2.

I have been using FreeNAS 10/11 for years with the Transmission plugin always running stable. But since I upgraded the TrueNAS and the jails to version 12.x the service of specifically my torrent plugins randomly stops after an hour or so. I also have a MiniDLNA version 12.x jail running just fine. I kept my Plex and Ubiquiti jails at 11.2 because they don't have this issue. With RC2 I'm getting a cloudsync.sync task stuck at "Starting" 0.00%
I tried resetting and it came back.
I do have a couple of scheduled B2 Cloud Sync Tasks. But, they show as having completed successfully.
So, not sure what this stuck task is about. Anyone else seeing the same? (Issue was not present in last build.)

BACKGROUND
4+ months ago, I got fed up with the QNAP QTS hardcoded credentials and vulnerabilities, and successfully installed TrueNAS CORE on all three of my QNAP systems. I was able to get all the services I need (APACHE, LACP, RSYNC, SMB, TFTP, TM) and even a Windows 10 VM running.
I ultimately ended up replacing the OEM 512MB eUSB DOMs with 16GB SLC eUSB DOMs for the boot-pool.

Hi,
For the second time in the past 1-2 weeks network connectivity inside all my Jails stopped. Restarting the Jails doesn't help restore connectivity.
The Jails are starting fine but afterwards they cannot be pinged from other devices in the network nor I can ping to other devices or resolve hostnames inside the Jail.
The previous time this happened I restarted the entire TrueNAS server but it's currently running a scrub and obviously this doesn't provide a proper solution.

I have a system with a Yotta 16 Drive SATA to SCSI box with 16 2TB drives in it. It is setup as JBOD on SCSI Address 10.
On my old Adaptec controller Freenas was able to see 16 drives on the single SCSI address.
I am upgraded my system and the new system as a Dell PERC 4e/DC dual SCSI port raid controller. I have disabled the bios on the PERC controller so the controller is not trying to do any RAID configuration. However when I access the Storage -> Disks from the TrueNAS web interface...

I have completed the migration from Truenas Core to Scale (uneventful process with just a few quirks that could be solved even by a noob like myself).
Am I safe to assume that I can get rid of all the iocage volumes? I have already migrated all I needed from jails to apps, of course.
Is any other cleanup activity recommended?

Dear community of Scale,
After i've setup my openvpn server successfully (can connect from the phone on WAN side to truenas Ovpn server and access the truenas UI) I cannot access the "internet" or the rest of LAN when connected to the OVPN server.
this is coming from a working install on latest stable Core (12.0 u2?) , and done the upgrade to scale.
I've made the debian net.ipv4.ip_forward 1 tunable, but still its not working.

Hi. New here with a question. Will the LSI 9211-8i 6G SAS HBA FW:P20 IT Mode support (4) 14TB WD drives in a Dell Poweredge T330? I am considering setting up a RaidZ2 with the 4 14TB drives with a usable pool of 25.46TB. The T330 has 8 drive bays, backplane, and I will use the LSI 9211-8i to use all 8 drives. I am planning on an additional 4 4TB drives to fill up the server as a second pool.

I have been using vlan's for ages ...... but for some stupid reason!, I do not manage to define a vlan in TrueNAS SCALE (RC2) ........
Normally
- I define a vlan (no IP-address)
- a bridge and assign the vlan to the bridge (no IP-address)
- the vlan is of course related to a subnet lets say 192.168.a.0/24 and a gateway lets say 192.168.a.1
- some application connected to the bridge listening to one or more ip's

Hi.
I've a Freenas server on my network that hosts two Windows shares SMB:

If I try to access it from any Windows 10 domain client in the same networtk , simply by putting
\\freenas\dataset1 in the
run as box , I can see and access all two windows shares without issue:

Anyway, from only one client I can't see
Documenti Pubblici Uffici shared folder but only
Docs folder.
