Hi, I have to report a problem on the iSCSI wizard when try to upgrade or clean install to SCALE 22.02.1 on a proxmox as a VM, when I step by step to fill the information followed by the iSCSI wizard, after all submitted and start to creation but the wizard will continue to keep to show to reloading screen and no further message shown, and I try to wait a few minute but I see the iSCSI page is no iSCSI configuration created in the WebUI, but manual create iSCSI configuration is no problem.

Help with suitable VPN access to access truenas and jail components
Hi,
Apologies if this is a repeated question,
Basically, i would like to be able to access remotely my truenas and media jail services (sonarr, radarr, etc...) They are all installed in one jail
Which is the best suitable VPN way to do it.
Note: i am using zerotier for my other systems installed somewhere else (home Assistant, etc..) so if this is possible then it would be better

Slow read performance
I am experiencing slow read performance on my TrueNAS R20. I have one pool using 3.5 TB of storage with 16.29 available. 9 drives 3.64 TB drives configured using RAIDZ3. I have one drive for Caching and one drive for logs. Copying files to the TrueNAS seem to be ok, not great, but useable( 30MBps over 1 Gbps). Copying files from TrueNAS hover between 1.5 and 2.0 MBps.

Having issues join TrueNAS into the domain
Hello together!
iam trying to put a test TrueNAS System into our Domain. It seems like the join worked(?) without any error messages.
i can enter my crendentials in the "Directory Services -> Active Directory" menu just fine.
but when i enter the shell and use the "wbinfo -g" command iam getting these errormessages:
could not obtain winbind interface detials: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE
could not obtain winbind domain name!
failed to call wbcListGroups: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE...

Been testing Truenas Scale (22.02.1) and I am seeing the process k3s-server using 15-50% cpu all the time.
No images or vms running.

113 MB/s write speeds, that's limited by my 1Gpbs connection?
Silly question that google should be able to answer for me, but since real world performance doesn't really match theoretical limits I wanted to confirm. When I'm moving files over to my TrueNAS server over a Windows SMB share, it's a consistent 112-113MB/s, is that limited by my 1Gbps connection or my WD Red drives in RAID-Z2? I want to upgrade/install a 10Gbps NIC if it'll speed up transfers. My computer already has a 10Gbps nic, I would just need to run cat6e. I guess pretty much...

ich bin schon ein paar Tage glücklich mit meinem FreeNAS und bin jetzt doch auf eine Kleinigkeit gestoßen, die ich gern ändern würde und wo die "ergoogelten" Lösungen nicht helfen.
Ist es möglich (insbesondere unter MacOS) SMB Freigaben wo der User keine Lese- oder Schreibrechte hat auszublenden?
Mein HP Microserver Gen8 regelt sich nicht wirklich in einen Ruhemodus, obwohl die Einstellungen im FreeNAS für alle Platten nach 10min das eigentlich ermöglichen sollten...

Updating Nextcloud

I'm currently running version23 of nextcloud and there is a small update release and it has brought up how should I update. Should I go through the Nextcloud GUI or update from the truenas plugin screen. Is one better than the other or is one more reliable or I shouldn't do one.
Nextcloud was installed through a plug in, In December last year have had no issues since it has started I just like to keep things up to date.

Put in the correct domain name / username / password (including trying domain\username) and if flashes Please Wait for a half second then gives me the "Failed to validate bind credentials:"
I have manually specified the nameservers / domain (Primary & Secondary domain controllers)
I can ping and resolve the Primary Domain Controller from the shell.
I have enabled SMB and checked the autostart box

Middlewared having a memory leak in 22.02.0?
The question is how much memory should the middlewared normally consume. Because right now it feels like it's leaking memory to me.
My server has 16 gigs of RAM and currently runs TrueNAS-SCALE-22.02.0.
As I'm writing this my current uptime is 1 day 15:42. Before this reboot my uptime was pretty close to 16 days. And at the end of it middlewared was using close to 35% of the memory in htop and the system was telling me that it was running out of memory. So I rebooted it.

I'm using TrueNAS last two years, so I can say I'm quite new on this system. Few weeks ago I noticed that two of the disks started showing some errors on read status, because of this the pool goes to unhealthy state, but if I reboot it again goes to healthy.

SFTP / SSH Lock in home directory
I currently have : TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1
I have setup the SSH (as SFTP)
2 tests users with 2 distinct home folders in the same dataset for testing
Everything works, but both users can navigate and do what they want to the root folder.
Is there a way to lock them in their own homefolders?
Altho there are just 2 users for now, I plan to have several hundreds in the near future if I can make this work.
