Pool Offline after removing Dedup Disk

I am very new to TrueNAS and just did the same thing the person on this thread did.

I lost my Dedup VDev Disk and Pool UNAVAIL

I added an Optane SSD for Dedup VDev some days ago and tested dedup performance, but it seems not very good. Then I try to delete the SSD from zpool and use it for other things, but failed. So I shut down the TrueNAS host and unplugged the SSD then erased it for other systems. When I turn on...

I'm using three nodes of a Dell PowerEdge C6220 unit as a Proxmox VE cluster (which uses my TrueNAS CORE box for some of its storage, hence a tenuous connection to this forum). ISOs and some low-demand VM disk images are stored on the TrueNAS server, but most of the live disk images are stored on a Ceph pool consisting of three, 2TB Samsung EVO 860 SSDs, one in each node. i want to run multiple docker under Truenas Scale which should be completely separate from each other. This means I want to have each Docker container in a separate VLAN so that they can't communicate with each other. Is this somehow possible?

I have been running NUT server on my Scale host for some time. My Scale host runs the nightly builds and is currently on TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12-MASTER-20220327-112906. The UPS is a Cyber Power
There are 4 clients talking to the Scale NUT server and it has been working well. Today I noticed a NUT client machine was giving error messages that my UPS was unavailable.

32GB unbuffered Memory (non-ECC)

Can't connect to TrueNas or its web interface

Help! I'm a photographer and have my entire image library backed up to a TrueNas server.
I can't connect to my NAS and despite extensive reading, setting up a static IP, swapping out the NIC I haven't managed to fix the problem.

I've used the system for around 3 years and when I first installed it just worked, but I don't really know what I'm doing with networking. I don't know if anyone would be willing to walk me through this? I totally can't fathom it.

I have look at other threads and I have not found a solution that works
I am trying to connect freedns to my truenas server
and on the monitor I have connected it says failed to get IP address for default@freedns.afraid.org, giving up!

I exported then imported a zpool now I can not access the data on the system. The system shows space is being used but when I tried to create a share none of the files show even though I am mapping to the same dataset. (I use the web GUI).

Hello , Im new to TrueNas but im really liking what ive seen so far and looking forward to unlocking more potential.

Recently i started my first CORE server with the specs listed in my signature(i5 7600k, z270 k3 gigabyte mobo , 16gb corsair ram).

I'm wondering if my combo of an Intel DH67BL & LSI 9201-8i are going to work together. During post, I do not see the options to get into the configuration for the LSI card. I flashed the LSI card and set it for IT mode in another device. I'm sure this is probably a noob error, which I either misread the compatibilty and I'm overlooking something.

I've downloaded Truenas scale three times.
Verified the sha256 hash
Have tried three different flash drives

I keep getting this error....

error: /vmlinuz has invalid signature truenas install
Error: you need to laod the kernal first

After that just goes back to the grub menu

nothing else to do really.

After a long period I have a spare computer (i3 8th gen, 32GB RAM, 2X2TB HDD,2Xnvme disks) to try Truenas Scale. I was comming and going to Truenas (freenas) several times. ACL was hard to understand for me. I was making mess with permissions. And I was the only user also. Now I really want to switch to Truenas from OMV. I really need proper permissions guide. Hi new to Truenas and Freebsd in general. I have recently set up a new installation of Truenas, thought I followed all the advice from here and elsewhere and cannot for the life of me get the jails (emby server, plex ) to recognise any folders or files in the datasets in my drive pools. I can configure a network drive in windows 10 pro pc connected to the network using (smb) which indicates I should have the permissions set up properly but I cannot populate either plugin with music movies...

I recently upgraded from freenas to truenas with clean install not upgrade method as it did not work for me.

I am currently in Shanghai, China. So, is it because of the location it does not fetch any details from the truenas server. I tried to install simple plugin first but it got stuck and 20-50% which showed not able to create jail, and failed to fetch too. I have been using FreeNAS 10/11 for years with the Transmission plugin always running stable. But since I upgraded the TrueNAS and the jails to version 12.x the service of specifically my torrent plugins randomly stops after an hour or so. I also have a MiniDLNA version 12.x jail running just fine. I kept my Plex and Ubiquiti jails at 11.2 because they don't have this issue. Full disclosure, I am virtualizing under ESXi with passthrough of LSI2008 cards in IT mode. I have 5 new Ultrastar He12 disks, which I'm migrating to using another LSI2008 card.

I have been testing a couple of things, including SCALE and I noticed slow performance compared with Core using sequential writes, where I would normally expect memory to be the bottleneck.
